Detail of printed graphics, showing layered imagery.
The artwork’s design embodies elements from the languages of music, theatre and dance. The curtain immediately evokes a theatrical stage but also a threshold to the future, or passage onto a bigger stage. The swooping linear gestures suggest staves of sheet music, while the colourful star elements reference individual musical notes or the choreography of steps in a dance. The subtle background pattern of cascading binary code refers to the sharing of knowledge in our fast-evolving digital age.
